Left Lean

America's new favorite direction is........................(drum roll please) The Left! America is undergoing a political re-centering not only because of the failed Bush presidency but rather the coming of age of America's youth. The youth is much more remarkably left leaning than any other age group and will throw their significant weight behind the progressives. The Obama campaign has done something for the voting youth that other campaigns have never done. It has given them a purpose and made them feel accomplished in knowing that they elected a president sympathetic with them. The Golden Age of Liberalism can only flourish if we tackle the notion that government is innately evil. We must remember that the government derives its power from us, the people. The government is supposed to take care of us and if in your opinion it doesn't then do something about it. That is our civic duty, the government functions for both our interests and our well being. Let government do its job and if its not then let us do ours.

  1. true true, i see your point, but often when a group of people are given an imeense amount of power, it's abuse is inevitable. I honestly question what one person can achieve if their overbering tyranical brute of a government is constantly destroying their oppurtinities to change the way things are, they have no choice but to view the government as innately evil. Like it or not we all aren't barack obamas, we all aren't born with the same circumstances, and some people are just born with the chips lower than others. So i ask what happens to those at the bottom of the barrel...

  2. U gotta fight ur way to the top. Fortunately or unfortunately that's how America works. More than likely thanks to all of the broken barriers any person can be what they want to be in this country as long as they are willing to work for it.

  3. Certainly not! The way of the left is corrupted. Look at how long it took for them to appoint Burris as senator. They feared so much that they would lose a seat in the senate that they would deny the people of Illinois the opportunity to select who they want to represent them.

  4. Frantzy, you cannot believe the Republican up-chuck that you are defacing my blog with....I can understand the logic behind not allowing a man into the senate who was appointed by a corrupted governor. The democrats would not, could not, lose a special election for the senate seat vacated by Barack Obama due wholly to the fact that he it was his senate seat. That my friend is just nonsensical, and if you are so disturbed by the the denial of the voting rights of Illinois citizens and in a general context the American public, why aren't you asking for a special election in for the New York senate seat?? I do not mind you being Republican but at least be original...I know for a fact that you are smart enough.
